Melaleuca Fulgens, commonly known as scarlet honey myrtle, is endemic to WA, SA and the NT.

This plant is notable for its showy orange, red and even purple flowers, its unusual foliage and the fruit.

Melaleuca Fulgens is a great garden plant growing up to 3 metres.

The Flowers bloom from late winter to spring (July to December).

Scarlet honey myrtle is found in a broad area across WA down the coastlines to the SA border.

They grow on sandy  and gravel soils, ofen on granit outcrops.
