Eucalyptus torquata, commonly known as coral gum or Coolgardie gum is a small tree that has beautiful flowers.
It grows between 4 and 11 metres in height in its native habitat which has a spreading habit.
It produces clusters of orange barrel-shaped buds with horned caps, which are followed by prolific red or pink flowers between August and December.
It is drought tolerant, and they grow in stony loam or clay and red sandy soils.

Generally, the concentrated clusters of markers represent the geographical range where this species occurs naturally. Outlying markers and geographically disassociated markers represent observations of the species in cultivation and/or recorded in herbaria etc.
