Eucalyptus nitens is a large fast-growing 'blue gum' which occurs at altitude in NSW and Victoria.
It is cold-tolerant but not drought tolerant and requires deep free-draining soils with high rainfall.
They often grow to a height of 70m but sometimes an grow up to 90m.
