ERA Nursery operates a modern facility located on a 4ha site on the Southern Boundary of Hamilton in the Western Districts of Victoria.
ERA has been operating in the Western District for over 20 years.
The nursery uses the latest air vacuum seeding and robotic seeding transplant equipment.
ERA has a major commitment to its OH&S responsibilities and as a result an excellent industrial safety record. We have policies and procedures in place which are clearly understood by both management and employees.
We now also have a major in-house transport and logistics capability delivering large volumes of plant material over long distances and usually within stringent time frames.
The nursery is the only Victorian production nursery outside the metropolitan area to have Myrtle Rust accreditation (ICA-42).
The nursery has been at its present site from the summer of 2004 having moved from a site near the Hamilton airport, the airport site mainly produced forestry seedlings but now the nursery has expanded to a large range of native seedlings and some advanced trees.
