Kakea Nodosa is commonly known as the Yellow Hakea and grows in the south-eastern parts of Australia, and north-eastern parts of Tasmania.

The Yellow Hakea is a sprawling shrub thar can grow up to 3 metres high and 3 metres wide.

The flowers are cream to white and the bloom in April or May through to August.

They are usually found in dense heath woodlands that are usually witer wet locations on clay soils, however they are also adaptable to a wide range of different soils and climatic conditions.

They can grow in full sun or part shade.
