This is a small tree to 3 or 4 metres that produces very attractive 'new' juvenile blue foliage sought after by the cut flower industry. As it will be pruned regularly for cut foliage it is likely to peak at under 2 metres.
It a small-growing eucalypt usually seen as a spreading shrub that retains its juvenile foliage into maturity. Young leaves stems and fruit capsules retain a powdery blue-white colouration. Foliage is strikingly silvery-grey and round in form.
The cream flowers are produced between around May and Spring and the large fruit capsules that follow are cup-shaped.
