Eucalyptus platypus var heterophylla (syn utilis) is a narrow-leaved form of Eucalyptus platypus so its safe to say the same (earlier) notes apply. It is an excellent choice for coastal applications and provides an interesting and complementary contrast to its cousin when planted alongside.

Generally, the concentrated clusters of markers represent the geographical range where this species occurs naturally. Outlying markers and geographically disassociated markers represent observations of the species in cultivation and/or recorded in herbaria etc.
