Acacia Vestita, or commonly known as the Hairy Wattle, is a shrub that grows to a height and width of 4 metres.
They Grow best in full sun, and bloom their bright yellow flowers from August through to October.
This species can be used as a hedge plant, screening plant or for shubbery.
They will grow in most soils, such as clay and sandy soils, and once established are frost tolerant.
They are found in deep gullies and steep slopes in dry sclerophyll woodlands, mostly in south-eastern parts of NSW and north-eastern parts of VIC.
Pruning after flowering is the best way to maintain the shape and size of the plant.
