Acacia stricta or 'hop wattle' is native to the higher rainfall inland and sub-coastal regions of South East Australia. This is a reliable, dense shrub to around 3 metres well suited to screening and windbreak applications. Hop wattle is also a sound choice for soil erosion control.
Acacia stricta (hop wattle) because of it's reliability is an essential inclusion choice for a mixed planting or screening project.
