Commonly known as River cooba, native willow. This acacia is tolerant to alkaline, frost and periodic flooding. Height can differ from 2m to 20m depending on growing conditions. Moderate to fast growing rate, has suckers, longer lived Acacia. Considered a weed in North west QLD. 

Very widely distributed in inland arid areas from far region of W.A. to SA and VIC, QLD and NSW.
