Acacia calamifolia (wallowa) is an attractive rounded shrub which grows to around 3m in height with a similar spread. It has a fresh, soft appearance and produces prolific yellow flowers in Spring.
Acacia calamifolia (wallowa) is a hardy plant and although it will grow on most soils it is particularly well suited to sandy soils in the lower rainfall regions. Wallowa is drought hardy, lime tolerant and can be pruned to shape.
