Acacia baileyana purpurea (cootamundra wattle) is a small tree growing up to 10 metres high and 6 metres wide. The plant is very hardy and suited to most soil types, prefering full sun.
Acacia baileyana purpurea (cootamundra wattle) is very fast growing and makes a perfect screening plant that flowers profusly in late winter with yellow ball shaped golden flowers, the new foliage has a purple tinge.
