Acacia Aphylla, also knwon as the leafless rock wattle, is a spiny and leafless wide branching shrub.
They grow to a height of 3 metres, and a width of 2 metres.
Unlike other plantsm, the leafless rock wattle have blue-green wiry stems that photosynthesis like leaves.
This evolutionary adaptation greatly reduces the total surface area of water loss through transpiration.
The flowers are spherical and yello which bloom in between August and October.
They are commonly found on open forest communities and woodlands.
Acacia Aphyla grows in sandy, clay and even gravel soils.
