Eucalyptus microcarpa (grey box) is a small to medium tree with grey fibrous bark on the the lower branches and trunk. The upper branches have a smooth grey coloured bark.
It is an adaptable species occuring over a wide geographical range
Eucalyptus microcarpa (grey box) has cream coloured flowers towards the end of winter through to summer.
