A broom like shrub with narrow leaves with hooked tips, growing up to 5m high

It has Cream to yellow flowers appear in spring.

Its best growth is on well drained soils.

Tolerates drought, waterlogging and frost.

Expected to be moderately salt tolerant.

Used commercially for the construction of brush fencing.

Soils: sand, loam

Uses: windbreak, screen, hedge, brush fences.
