Acacia longifolia or commonly known as Sallow wattle is a very fast growing, lush free flowering shrub to around 4m. It is an ideal choice for quick screening and soil stabilisation however care should be taken as this species is prone to spread and become established. This is not a species recommended for sensitive bushland areas susceptible to invasion such as the Grampians. Planted extensively in Australia and overseas.
Acacia longifolia (sallow wattle) has a flowering period from June to October.
